Alright so after some long thought the server files I was going to bring over to a new host after hosting it on my own PC, im not going to use that world. Its a good world and all, but its not the best one for this new start. So it's going to be a brand new world. A fresh start for everyone. We have also moved to a really great host for all this.
Currently we are still setting up the basics for the server. Adding a few plugins and all. The server shop and voting will not work for at least another month, we want to make sure everything else is working and set up to be playable on the new server.
Where is the server being hosted?
Its being hosted in California, USA. on Linode servers
How much RAM is the server?
Right now it's 8GB.
Will this be more than a SMP server?
This server use to host Skyblock, Prisions, and SMP. Currently we are saying no to other game modes. Only SMP.
Is the server going to be whitelisted?
Yes and no. In the first few months the server will be whitelisted. You will need to make an account on the website with your Minecraft username and submit a ticket to be added. After a few months it will be open to all. The whitelist is to help block bad players and for us to finish setting things up.
Will there be an app again?
Yes we will bring back the app for players who want to use it and support us more. The app will be more simpler than before.
Will there be a series made?
I personally might make a few videos on the server, nothing to long unless i get good feedback on it and people want me to contuine. But if others who play want to make videos you sure can! Or stream it!
